No matter what product you use, regular maintenance is key. Without it, items fail earlier than their designed lifespan—including oil resistant pipes. After using an oil resistant hose for a while, you need to clean it. Cleaning seems simple, but you must follow proper methods and steps. Otherwise, you’ll waste time without getting good results. So, how do you effectively clean a rubber fuel hose?
Steps to Clean an Oil Resistant Pipe
First, confirm the position of the drilling frame at the site where the oil resistant hose is installed. You’ll need a cleaning machine for the process. Typically, these machines have five parts: a guide rail system, temperature control system, electrical control box, reduction box, and other components. You may also need a high-pressure washer hose.

Second, let the cleaning machine run idle before starting. Wait five minutes, then move to the next step. At this point, the large cleaning machine’s power supply system will be electrically controlled. The control box will then connect to the drilling rig and heating system. Once the drill pipe reaches the bottom of the hole, start heating the fuel delivery hose to prepare for cleaning.
