Prepare test equipment and materials
First, you need to prepare a vacuum pump, a pressure gauge, and a test hose of the same size and material as the hose to be tested. Make sure these equipment are in good working condition to ensure the accuracy of the test results.
Determine the test pressure
According to the design pressure of the hose, determine the max negative pressure. Usually the design pressure of the hose refers to the max positive pressure it can withstand. But it can also serve as a reference value to determine the maximum negative pressure.
Connect the test equipment
Connect the hose to the vacuum pump and the pressure gauge. Make sure the connection is tight to avoid leakage.
Start the test
Turn on the vacuum pump and gradually reduce the pressure to observe whether the negative pressure hose has any deformation, plastic deformation, leakage, etc. When the test pressure reaches the preset maximum negative pressure, stop the test and observe the condition of the hose.
Analyze the test results
Evaluate the negative pressure resistance of the negative pressure hose produced by the industrial hose according to the test results. If the hose has any abnormal conditions during the test, such as plastic deformation, leakage, etc., it means that the negative pressure resistance of the hose is insufficient. If the hose does not show any abnormal situation during the test and can withstand the preset maximum negative pressure, it means that the negative pressure resistance capacity of the negative pressure resistant hose meets the requirements.
