Although PE, PA and PP corrugated pipes may look similar in appearance. But they differ significantly in performance and application.
PE is a relatively cheap and common plastic material
PE corrugated pipes are light and soft, and their main feature is low cost. Polyethane materials have relatively low resistance to chemicals, so they are not suitable for use in highly corrosive environments. Its operating temperature range is usually between -40℃ and 80℃.
PA is a high-performance plastic material
PA corrugated pipes have good flexibility, deformation resistance, good bending function, acid resistance, lubricating oil, coolant, etc. And the outline is bright and shiny, and it is resistant to friction. It is the best quality of the three plastic pipes. PA materials generally have good flame retardant properties. Suitable for environments without formic acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, calcium chloride, methanol and strong oxidants. Its operating temperature range is between -40℃ and 125℃.
PP is a semi-crystalline plastic material. It has good thermal stability and chemical corrosion resistance. PP corrugated pipes are flame retardant, and its flame retardant grade can reach VO grade. PP material has a weak resistance to certain chemicals and solvents. Therefore, it may not be durable enough in certain environments. Its operating temperature range is usually between -30℃ and 120℃.
