Welding hose has a wide range of pressure and temp ratings. Because the quality of such hose from suppliers are different. Then let me show you the general ranges of them.
Pressure
PVC welding hose has a max working pressure in general. The MWP indicates the max pressure the hose can safely handle during operation. While the MWP for PVC welding hose is typically in the range of 200 to 300 psi, or about 14 to 21 bar. It’s important to not exceed the specified MWP to prevent hose failure or safety hazard. The supplier will show you the MWP of the hose. Then follow the guidance and keep a safe work.
Temp
The temperature range for PVC welding hoses is generally between -10℃(14℉) to 60℃ (140℉).
It’s to note that PVC can become more rigid in colder temp. While this can make it not that flexible. Worse more, it can reduce the property. While in extreme cold conditions, PVC hose may become brittle and prone to crack.
