Easily transfer water with a lightweight lay flat hose, suitable for almost any firefighting scenario or industrial, agricultrural application. Usually rubber/PU/PVC -covered or jacketed, flat expandable hose is easy to load and handle, as well as roll up for storage. It takes up less room in industrial facilities where may have limited space . Available in a variety of sizes and diameters with connectors of your choice.
Today let’s mainly into the agricultural application layflat and see it’s manufacture process.
Agricultural canvas hoses have two kinds: lined canvas hoses and unlined canvas hoses. Considering the price and performance, PVC lined is popular in agricultural use. Work pressure range from 4bar to 20bar.
Agricultural canvas hose is commonly used in farmland irrigation, high-pressure sprinkler irrigation, landscaping, family gardening, slope irrigation, etc.
The production process is very complicated and skillful. But we can still summarize it and share it with you!
Tools/Materials
1. circular loom
2. extruder
3. High pressure vulcanizer
4. High strength polyester filament
method/step
Step1 The first step: use a circular loom to produce a belt. The belt is made of high-strength polyester filament;
Step2 the second step: use an extruder to produce linings, including polyurethane lining, pvc lining, synthetic rubber lining, etc.;
Step 3 Then the belt and lining get together under high pressure with a high pressure vulcanizer.
Step 4: Finally, there will be a hose reel machine to manually or mechanically roll the hose into a disc shape. So far, the production process of agricultural canvas hose is completed!
