Sometimes you may find there are cracks on the surface of composite hose. In fact A variety of factors can cause cracks. Generally, improper operation in the production process and the influence of the external condition will cause cracks. Then affect the use of the hose.
Let’s analyze the reasons for composite hose crack.
1. In the rolling part of the finished product: severe scratches during the rolling process; severe wear of the roller groove; improper cleaning of the billet and serious defects.
2. During rolling, there is impurity in the molten iron. Oxygen content is high and then forms oxides. Thus the crack appears because you didn’t clean them up during the producing.
3. The molten iron contains a large amount of gas. When the molten iron solidifies, the gas released and cause bubble. The bubbles closes to the outer layer of the slab become sub air bubbles. And they vertically arranges in a honeycomb shape below the surface of the slab. Generally, the bubbles generated after billet rolling can be welded. But some bubbles are closer to the surface. When heat or burn the steel slap, the bubbles will expose and oxidize. Then it cause the welding can’t go on. As a result, the crack appears on composite hose.
Above are the reasons that cause crack on composite hose surface. In fact, we can take some measures to avoid such crack. Thus you have to focus on the correct method during the produce and process. Then avoid the bubble and crack problem during the process. So as to prevent cracks.
