Please note that the hose should be 3 times larger than the nozzle size. Check the hose ID to determine how to measure until the nozzle size is reached. Every Everflex product has a clear label, and we also provide a series of high-quality nozzles. Incorrect size will cause unnecessary wear inside the sandblasting hose, thereby shortening the service life of the equipment. Choosing the correct size can not only extend the service life, but also ensure that the air pressure will not be lost from the hose to the surface.
LENGTH
The contractor needs two hoses for sandblasting, and each hose needs a different length to ensure the best sandblasting ability. The first hose is connected from the air compressor to the blasting pot, and the second hose is the hose from the blasting pot to the work surface. The first hose is usually longer and requires a larger inner diameter size because, unlike the blower tank, the compressor is not highly portable. The hose from the compressor to the blasting pot is longer, which can provide greater mobility, and the larger inner diameter can ensure that the blasting medium enters the blasting pot. The second hose from the blasting pot to the work surface should be shorter so that the maximum pressure can be obtained from the hose.

In terms of hose size, layer 2 is located between the Shupa hose and layer 4 pipeline. Although supa is a thinner and more flexible hose, the 2-layer hose provides a harder alternative for severe sandblasting operations. But compared to 4-layer hoses, 2-layer hoses provide greater flexibility without sacrificing durability.
