Ferrule joint
Pressure range: 250-800 Bar;
Steel pipe size range: 4-42 mm
Material: carbon steel and stainless steel.
The ferrule type hose joint has three parts: joint body, ferrule and nut. When the ferrule and nut sleeve insert into the joint body and the nut is tight, the outside of the front end of the ferrule fits with the taper surface of the joint body. And the inner groove bites into the seamless steel pipe evenly to form an effective seal.
Advantages: widely used and mature; parts are low-price; doesn’t need special tools.
Defect: only suitable for pipe below 42mm and not suitable for thin wall pipes. Besides, it need large space and torque to install. It also not suitable for high safety demand condition. In addition, it’s not suitable for strong vibration, shock and pulse works.
2JIC37°joint
Pressure range: 420 Bar (250 Bar, 100 Bar)
Steel pipe size range: 6-38 mm
Materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, copper alloy, etc.
The JIC37°joint consists of three parts: joint body, bushing and nut. After the bushing and nut insert into the steel pipe, the end of the steel pipe is flared with a flaring device. Then the joint body and the nut are tight. And the contact surface of the cone surface and O-ring are sealed.

Simple and to install
Defect:
Only suitable for pipe below 38mm
Low nominal pressure
Not suitable for thick wall pipes
Requires tail molding.
