End forming (Walform)
Pressure range: 250- -800 Bar
Steel pipe size range: 4-42 mm
Materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, copper alloy, etc.
Walform is to replace the ferrule type. After the female sleeve inserts into the steel pipe, the end of the steel pipe will be extruded by the forming machine. After install the sealing ring, tighten the joint body and the nut. Then the rigid seal of the joint body and the forming surface and the sealing ring are sealed.
Advantages:
Low torque and safe
Quick and easy
Advanced tech without leakage
Defect:
Only suitable for pipe below 42mm
Requires forming machine to form the end.
Socket welding
Pressure range: 420 Bar (only for small size)
Steel pipe size range: 6–150 mm
Materials: carbon steel and stainless steel.
The socket welding is to extend the pipe into the valve body to weld. While the shape is similar to the female thread after forming.
Advantages:
Wide range of apps
low price of parts
Advanced tech and no leakage
Simple connect method for low-voltage systems.
Defects:
Requires skilled welding workers
Requires welding machine, good ventilation and fire prevention measures
Need special clean and anti-corrosion treat
It will cause pollution.
Butt welding
Pressure range: 500 Bar (only for small sizes)
Steel pipe size range: 6-608 mm
Materials: carbon steel and stainless steel
There are butt welding flange and butt welding joint.
Advantages:
Wide apps, low price of parts
Advanced tech and no leakage
Simple pipe-to-pipe connect
Defects:
Requires skilled welding workers, machine, good ventilation and fire prevention
Need special clean and anti-corrosion
Will cause pollution
