The cracking of hydraulic hose is a fault often encountered in the process of use. Different rupture conditions are caused by different reasons. As a professional hydraulic hose manufacturer, I will introduce you to several common types of hydraulic hose rupture and how to deal with it.
One or more hydraulic hoses are broken and the gap is neat
The main reason for this phenomenon is that the system pressure is too high, exceeding the pressure resistance of the hydraulic pipe. If the system pressure meets the requirements, check whether the actual pressure resistance of the hose used meets the design requirements.
Torsion of the hydraulic hose rupture
This phenomenon occurs because the hose is excessively twisted during installation or use. After the hose is twisted, the structure of the reinforcing layer changes, and the gap between the wires of the braided or wound structure increases, which reduces the compressive strength of the hose, and the hose is easily broken under the action of high pressure. Therefore, the hose should not be subjected to torque during the use of the hose. When installing the hose, the axes of the two joints should be placed on the same plane so as not to be twisted during use.
The wire is curled at the rupture of the hose and has obvious necking
The reason for this phenomenon is that the hydraulic hose is subjected to excessive tensile deformation, and the layers are separated to reduce the compressive strength. The hose will shrink and elongate in the longitudinal direction under the action of high pressure. The general expansion and contraction amount is +2%~-4% under normal conditions. If the hose is selected too short during installation, it will be subjected to a large tensile action during work, and if it is severe, it will be broken or loose. Therefore, appropriate solutions should be adopted depending on the specific situation. If it is too tight to be installed during installation, replace the lengthened new tube. If the span is too large, the intermediate support frame should be added.
