PE PA and PP corrugated hose look the same but quite different from each other
I’m the online reception in EverFlex. Sometimes clients call us that “I want a PVC steel wire hose. The temperature should be 150℃. While the pressure should be 5 bar”. If I was a fresh, client may bring me to a wrong way. However, I am not that innocent. In fact, client just call like this. Some new clients even call silicone hose and PU hose as PVC hose. Moreover, they also call highly transparent PTFE hose as PVC hose. Because they look almost the same. Thus it’s hard to distinguish if not work in relevant industry.
On such occasion, let me introduce you steel wire hose. As the structure, it can be smooth and spiral types. Smooth type is suitable for liquid and high pressure usages. But spiral steel wire hose is more light and flexible. Thus it’s better for ventilation and dust suction.
General smooth steel wire hoses are PVC and PU.
PVC steel wire hose
It is transparent and it works at -20℃-70℃, shortly to 80℃.

PU steel wire hose
It’s the best hose for oil and particle deliver at high pressure. Generally, it acts as the support in irrigation, mine, food and sandblast. It can transfer water, oil, particle and gas from -40℃-90℃.
