Couplings are necessary parts for hose installation. Everyone has come into contact with many joints. But do you know what are the main standards for joints? As a professional hose manufacturer, I will introduce the main types of pipe joints.
1.British standard Huai
British standard joints are SAE inverted cone joints. It is a misconception that many people think that all foreign threads are metric. Usually this is not the case, there are two commonly used thread forms-metric thread and Wyeth standard Huai thread (BSP). British standard Huai straight pipe (BSP) thread, also known as Wyeth standard Huai thread. It can be either a straight thread (BSPP) or a tapered thread (BSPT), both with inverted tapered surfaces.
2.French standard Huai
French GAZ is a commonly used pipe joint. This joint is a metric thread with a 24 ° cone. Similar to German DIN pipe joints, but the threads are different in some dimensions. Although both are metric threads, all pipe joints in France use fine-threaded threads, while German DIN pipe joints are larger and use coarse-threaded threads. Most port connections are flanged. French standard Huai flange is different from SAE and hellip standard Huai flange; its flange end has a protruding boss. This flange is called a Poclain type flange.
3.German standard
German DIN (German Industrial Standard Huai) is a commonly used pipe joint. The so-called metric pipe joint is usually referred to as the DIN pipe joint. Its flanges are standard 61 or 62 flanges (except -10). German standard mainly includes DIN24 ° cone ball head thread and DIN60 ° cone ball head thread and DIN3852 pipe joint (straight thread)
4, Japanese standard Huai
There are two more commonly used pipe joints in Japan
(1) All Komatsu equipment uses pipe joints with a 30 ° cone seat and metric fine thread. All flanges are Type 61 or Type 62 (except -10 *).
(2) Most other Japanese equipment uses pipe joints with 30 ° cone seat and inch standard Huai straight pipe thread, which is usually called JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard Huai) pipe joint. These fittings are not interchangeable with imperial fittings because their tapered faces are opposite. All flanges are Type 61 or Type 62 (except -10 *).
